“Is a little chaos actually good for us?”
I think a little chaos is good for us—at least sometimes.
Not the kind of chaos that completely wrecks your peace or leaves you constantly overwhelmed, but the small, unpredictable moments that force you to adapt. The kind that reminds you life isn’t meant to be perfectly organized all the time.
I used to think chaos was always a bad thing. That if things felt messy, out of control, or uncertain, it meant something was wrong. But the more life happens, the more I realize chaos can be a teacher.
Chaos exposes what we can actually handle.
It pushes us out of routines that may feel safe but stagnant. It forces creativity, problem-solving, and resilience. Sometimes the best ideas, the strongest versions of ourselves, and even the most meaningful relationships are built in seasons where nothing feels neat or predictable.
I also think chaos reveals character—both our own and other people’s. When plans fall apart, masks tend to fall with them. You learn who can stay grounded, who shows up, and what truly matters.
That said, balance matters.
Too much chaos can feel exhausting. Constant survival mode isn’t growth—it’s depletion. I don’t think we’re meant to live in nonstop turbulence. But a little chaos? A little disruption? That can be healthy.
Maybe peace isn’t about eliminating chaos completely.
Maybe it’s about learning how to remain yourself in the middle of it.
Because life will always have unexpected turns.
Plans will change.
Things will break.
People will disappoint.
New doors will open where old ones closed.
And maybe growth happens when we stop demanding perfect control and start trusting ourselves to navigate the mess.
So yes—I think a little chaos can be good for us.
Sometimes chaos doesn’t destroy us.
Sometimes it reshapes us into someone stronger.

Chaos, something like waking up late to catch your flight, running around and leaving your younger brother back home only to realize it on the plane – Home Alone style? Ah! That chaos looked really good on tele now didn’t it? 😉😉 Unless ofcourse you’re the one forgotten behind …then it’s not the greatest feeling.

That’s exactly the kind of chaos that looks funny in hindsight but feels very different in real time 😅

In hindsight, being left while everyone has taken off may not seem such a bad idea at all, nowadays…well if your father happens to leave his credit 💳 cards – that’s always an extra bonus 😉.
