If I Were a Pokémon

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that every creature carries a story.

Not just a name, a type, or a set of abilities—but a history. A collection of scars, dreams, memories, fears, and moments that shaped who they became.

So I started wondering:

What would I look like if I existed within the Pokémon world?

Not as a trainer. Not as a human character.

As a Pokémon.

This design became my answer.

The evolution line represents different chapters of my life. The earliest stage embodies curiosity and uncertainty—the version of myself searching for meaning in places I couldn’t yet understand. The middle stage reflects growth, resilience, and the slow process of finding my voice. The final evolution represents the person I continue becoming: a storyteller shaped by memory, imagination, darkness, wonder, and the belief that even broken things can become beautiful.

Its design draws from many pieces of who I am.

The love of creating worlds through writing.

The quiet comfort of late-night thoughts.

The pull of forgotten places and liminal spaces.

The fascination with dreams, consciousness, identity, and the stories people carry within them.

The dark reds, black, and gold symbolize both struggle and transformation. Shadows are present throughout the design, but so is light. Not because darkness disappears, but because we learn how to carry both.

More than anything, this project became a reflection.

A visual representation of the things that have shaped me, challenged me, inspired me, and kept me creating even when the path ahead felt uncertain.

If this Pokémon existed, I imagine it would wander the spaces between memory and possibility, collecting fragments of forgotten stories and returning them to those who need them most.

Maybe that’s what creators do, too.

We gather pieces of ourselves, pieces of others, and pieces of the worlds we dream about—and we turn them into stories.

This is one of mine.
