I was both surprised and honored to be nominated for the Liebster Award by xunholyanubisx- https://papyrusofxanubisx.online/2026/06/08/sharing-the-love-my-liebster-award-nominees/. Thank you so much for thinking of me and for the kind words about my blog. One of my favorite things about blogging is discovering new voices, building connections, and being part of a community that encourages creativity and growth.
For anyone unfamiliar with the Liebster Award, it’s a blogger-to-blogger recognition designed to support newer and growing blogs while helping readers discover amazing creators they may not have found otherwise.
Now, onto the questions!
1. What first inspired you to launch your blog?
I’ve always been fascinated by the spaces between the ordinary and the uncanny. I wanted a place where I could explore stories, reflections, creativity, games, and the little mysteries hidden within everyday life. The Cozy Nook became that space—a place to share ideas that linger long after they’re read.
2. What is your absolute favorite post you have ever published?
My favorite post would have to be my Frostlight series. It’s a project that’s still very much a work in progress, but it’s one of the stories I’m most passionate about. It combines many of the themes I love most: mystery, wonder, memory, identity, and the spaces between worlds. Even though I need to spend more time working on it, it’s still the piece I’m proudest of sharing.
3. How do you overcome a sudden case of writer’s block?
I stop trying to force the words. Sometimes inspiration comes from a dream, a conversation, a game, a walk outdoors, or simply asking myself a new question. I’ve found that curiosity often works better than pressure.
4. What is the single biggest lesson blogging has taught you?
Authenticity matters. The posts that seem to connect most with readers are often the ones where I’m simply being myself rather than worrying about perfection.
5. Which fellow blogger do you look up to the most?
There are so many talented bloggers that it’s difficult to choose just one. I admire creators who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable, ask meaningful questions, and create spaces where genuine conversations can happen.
6. What does your ideal, productive writing environment look like?
My ideal writing environment is outdoors in the early morning. There’s something special about sitting with a fresh cup of coffee, my laptop open, and the cool morning air all around me. I love listening to the birds just beginning their day while the world is still quiet and waking up. It’s peaceful, inspiring, and gives me the space to disappear into whatever story, question, or idea I’m exploring.
If I can’t be outside, a cozy corner with soft lighting, a warm drink, and a little ambient music comes in a close second.
7. If you could only use one social media platform, which one?
This is a difficult choice, but I’d probably choose WordPress. While my posts don’t always spark long comment threads, many of the topics I write about are deeply reflective and sometimes uncomfortable to confront. I often explore questions about identity, memory, curiosity, and the human experience—subjects that can leave readers thinking long after they’ve finished reading.
What I love about WordPress is that it gives those ideas room to breathe. It feels less like chasing trends and more like building a library of thoughts, stories, and conversations that readers can return to whenever they need them.
8. What is your ultimate, long-term dream for your blog?
To build a welcoming community where people can explore creativity, storytelling, curiosity, and the strange beauty hidden within everyday life. If even one post inspires someone to look at the world a little differently, I’ll consider that a success.
9. What hobby do you enjoy entirely outside of digital media?
Crocheting. I love creating something tangible with my hands and stepping away from screens for a while.
10. What advice would you give someone starting a blog today?
Write about what genuinely excites and inspires you. Trends come and go, but passion is what keeps you creating. Focus on building connections and sharing your voice rather than chasing numbers.
