Echo Threads #7: Which Fictional World Feels Most Like Home?

What Fictional World Would You Happily Live In?

This prompt feels almost impossible to answer because there are so many worlds I’d love to visit.

If I had to choose one fictional world to call home, I don’t think it would be the safest or the most comfortable. It would be a world filled with mystery. A place where ancient forests hide forgotten paths, where strange creatures roam beyond the edge of the map, and where every doorway might lead somewhere unexpected.

I’d want a world where magic still feels magical.

The kind of place where libraries contain secrets older than kingdoms. Where travelers trade stories beside firelight. Where the stars seem close enough to touch and every journey feels like the beginning of an adventure.

Of course, I’d still want a few comforts from home. A cozy place to write. Good friends to share stories with. Maybe even a way to play games after a long day of exploring strange lands and uncovering mysteries.

More than anything, I’d want to live somewhere that reminds me the world is bigger than I imagined.

A place that rewards curiosity.

A place where wonder never entirely disappears.

What about you?

If you could live in any fictional world, which one would you choose and why?
