If humans had taglines, what would yours be?
If humans came with taglines the way products and businesses do, mine would probably be:
“Still figuring it out, but still moving forward.”
It may not sound especially inspiring, but it’s honest.
I’ve never been someone who had life completely mapped out. Most of my journey has been a mix of plans, unexpected detours, mistakes, lessons, and learning how to adapt when things don’t go the way I imagined. Looking back, there are plenty of moments I wish I had handled differently and opportunities I wish I had taken. But there are also moments where I surprised myself by continuing even when things felt impossible.
What makes this tagline feel right is that it leaves room for growth. It acknowledges that I don’t have all the answers, and honestly, I don’t think anyone does. We’re all figuring things out as we go. The important part isn’t having everything perfectly planned; it’s continuing to move forward anyway.
Some days that progress looks huge. Other days it looks like simply getting through the day, taking care of my family, working on my writing, creating content, or finding the energy to try again tomorrow.
Life isn’t a straight line, and neither am I.
So if I had a tagline, it wouldn’t be about being fearless, successful, or having everything together. It would simply be a reminder that no matter how many times life changes the plan, I’m still here, still learning, and still moving forward.
