Sunrise feels like coffee warming your hands before the world fully remembers itself. The birds slowly stitching sound back into the sky. The air feels new, like it hasn’t decided what kind of day it’s going to be yet.
Midnight feels like the world exhaling. Moonlight stretched thin across everything. Crickets, tree frogs, distant rustling in the dark—sounds you don’t notice until everything else gets quiet enough to hear them. The air feels older, heavier, like it remembers more than you do.
Both feel like different kinds of alive.
Just at different edges of time.
So… which one are you right now?

I find the nights quieter and peaceful…sunrise means having to deal with the same toxic people on a new day

That’s a powerful way of looking at it. 🌙 I think that’s part of why midnight feels so appealing to many people—it offers a kind of peace and distance from the noise of the day. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
