✨ Three Objects I Couldn’t Live Without
There are practical answers to this question, and then there are honest ones. Mine fall somewhere in between.
1. Something That Lets Me Create
Whether it’s my laptop, a notebook, or a blank document glowing on a screen — I need a way to turn thoughts into something tangible. Creating is how I process the world. It’s how I make sense of things that feel too big, too heavy, or too undefined. Without an outlet, my ideas feel trapped. With one, they become bridges.
2. Something That Connects Me to Others
A headset. A phone. A message notification. I’ve learned that belonging doesn’t always happen in physical rooms. Sometimes it happens in late-night conversations, shared laughter over a game, or quiet check-ins that say, “I’m here.” Connection isn’t optional for me — it’s oxygen.
3. Something That Grounds Me Physically
A blanket. A familiar desk. The small, ordinary things that anchor me to the present. I can dream endlessly, build endlessly, imagine endlessly — but I still need something solid to come back to. Even magic needs a resting place.
In the end, I don’t just need objects. I need creation, connection, and grounding. Everything else is negotiable.
